The knee airbag protected the driver's knees and femurs. Euro NCAP was satisfied that there were no structures in the dashboard that would present a hazard to the knees and femurs on the passenger's side.
The passenger's airbag can be deactivated to allow a rearward-facing child restraint to be fitted. However, information regarding the status of the airbag was not sufficiently clear to meet Euro NCAP's requirements. The presence of ISOFIX anchorages in the rear outboard seats was not clearly marked.
