Front impact
In the frontal impact, rearward movement of the subframe caused a rupture of the driver's side footwell. Structures in the knee-impact area represented potential hazards to the driver and passenger's knee and femur protection.

Child-protection
The passenger airbag could be deactivated to allow rear-facing childseats to be used in the front passenger seat. However, information regarding the status of the airbag was not sufficiently clear to meet Euro NCAP's requirements. The label warning against the use of a rearward-facing child restraint in the passenger's seat was inadequate. The presence of ISOFIX anchorages in the rear outboard seats was not sufficiently well indicated.

Pedestrian protection
The protection offered to an adult pedestrian's head scored no points.
