Front impact
The knee airbag protected the driver's knees and femurs. Euro NCAP was satisfied that there were no structures in the dashboard that would present a hazard to the knees and femurs on the passenger's side.

Child-protection
The passenger airbag could be deactivated to allow a rearward-facing child restraint to be placed in the front passenger's seat. However, information regarding the status of the airbag was not adequate to meet Euro NCAP's requirements. The presence of the ISOFIX anchorages in the rear outboard seats was not clearly marked.

Pedestrian protection
The bumper scored no points for the protection it offered pedestrians. The area of the bonnet likely to be hit by an adult pedestrian's head also scored no points.
