Front impact
Fiat have done much to remove hazards from the dashboard area but the steering column and ignition barrel still posed some risk of injury to the driver's femurs.

Side impact
The chest was the only body region not to score maximum points in the side impact test. The car scored maximum points in the pole test.

Child-protection
The presence of ISOFIX anchorages in the rear outboard seats was not clearly marked. The front passenger airbag can be disabled to allow a rear-facing child restraint to be used in that seating position. However, information provided to the driver regarding the status of the airbag was not sufficiently clear.
