Comments
Front impact
The passenger compartment was unstable in the impact and the floor was deformed around the front and rear seats. Structures in both sides of the dashboard presented a risk of injury to the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger.

Side impact
The test vehicle was not fitted with a head-protecting airbag so no pole test was performed.

Child occupant
The head of the three year old moved forward further than is recommended, making it vulnerable to injury through contact with parts of the car's interior. The excessive forward movement was attributed to collapse of the panel supporting the rear seat, on which the child restraint was positioned. The passenger airbag can be deactivated to allow a rearward facing child restraint to be used in that seating position. However, information provided to the driver about the status of the airbag is not sufficiently clear. There was a clear label warning of the dangers of putting a rearward facing child restraint in that seating position without first having disabled the airbag. The presence of ISOFIX anchorages in the rear outboard seats was not clearly marked.

Pedestrian
The bumper scored maximum points for the protection it offered to pedestrians' legs.
