Comments The manufacturer states that the Peugeot Partner is built on the same platform as the Berlingo and shares the same specification.
Front impact
The passenger compartment remained stable in the impact. Structures in the dashboard presented a risk of injury to the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger.
Side impact
A head-protecting airbag is not available so a pole test was not done.
Child-protection
The Berlingo has a switch to deactivate the passenger's airbag to allow a rearward-facing child restraint to be used in that seating position. However, information provided to the driver regarding the status of the airbag did not meet Euro NCAP's requirements. The presence of ISOFIX and top-tether anchorages in the rear outboard seats was not clearly marked.
Pedestrian protection
The bonnet surface and its front edge were rated as predominantly poor for the protection they offered to the head and legs of a struck pedestrian.
